Stir fried basil with Chicken and Herb

Today I want to present you with one of the most famous Thai food menus, we called ”Pad Ga Pow “. I prefer to use some herbs in Pad Ga Pow - Gai
Let’s see the details.

Ingredients: (For 4 Persons)

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chopped shallots
  • 3 tablespoons chopped lemon grass
  • 3 tablespoons chop 6 thin slices of galangal
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoons palm sugar
  • 2 cup basil leaves
  • 5 Fresh Kaffir lime leaves
  • 7-10 hot dry chilli
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

Cooking Method :

Crush the garlic, dry hot chilli, shallots, 2 kaffir leaves, kalangal and lemon grass into the mortar and pastle (or use food blender) then put the vegetable oil into the pan and use low heat. Take all ingredients from the mortar and cook in a pan. Take the ground chicken and mix all fish sauce, sugar, a little bit for salt and add the basil leaves.
Wait until the chicken and stir -fry around 7 -10 minutes , or unitl the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Serve with hot rice.
